Come and join us for a fun, rollicking workout to some great old and new tunes – all done in the comfort of your own chair! While seated (or standing if you prefer-- or both!), you will move, get your heart beating, and your legs tapping. The smiles and laughter are all part of the strength training program.

Class needs and expectations - Notes from your instructor Dave.
Participants will need to have an "armless" chair to frees up the arms to move in all directions and you will also need lots of room in front of you to be able to move your legs around.
Each class will start with a nice long warm-up - upper body, then torso ( core area) and then the legs.
Dave will then do a series of different movements - some involving legs only, some involving arms only, and some using the whole body. All of this will be set to music that Dave has pre-selected (different playlist every week), and designed with the appropriate beat to make it feel like we are "dancing" and moving to the beat. He vary the "speed" and "intensity" of the work out depending on the particular type of "drill" that you are doing.
He will do ask participants to either use light weights or bottles of wine - whatever you want to hold in your hands for some additional resistance work for the upper body.
This class will include at least one song dedicated to your core, and there will be a nice long stretch to end each class.
Please note: this class is fun and goofy... smiles are an absolute must!
