  REGISTRATION BEGINS March 4, 2024

  This ukulele class will be a direct follow up from the Beginner course. We will review:strumming,the chords in the C family. the I, IV, V, V7

  We will begin to learn the chords in the F family; the Heart and Soul progression of chords and sing songs from Beginner as well as several new ones.

  You will need to purchase a CAPO but I will give you advice in class.

  Prepare to sing and learn from your classmates. You will be amazed at how much fun we have together.

  REGISTRATION BEGINS AUGUST 6, 2024

  This ukulele class will be a direct follow up from the Beginner PLUS course. We will review: strumming, the C and F chord families, the I, IV, V, V7, IVm (Am and Dm) and the H&S Progression.

  We will begin to learn the Calypso rhythm and introduce the G, A, and D family of chords. Be sure to have a CAPO and prepare to sing and learn from your classmates. There will be the opportunity to demonstrate a song to the class, either individually, or in group. You'll be amazed at how much fun you will have.

  Strum with Flare - Sing with Authority

  This term we will focus on honing our playing and singing skills as they apply to song accompaniment. Strum variations, some finger-picking patterns, and tab reading will occasionally be incorporated. Solos, small ensembles, and class “aces” will be encouraged as the level of musicianship continues to rise. Will this be fun or what? Alumni are always welcome to return! Pre-requisite: A high intermediate class or other advanced course.

  With its unique form, Chinese knot can be very decorative on gift package.
